Ravello has been called the city of music, and for Isabella and Luca, that metaphor extended to their entire celebration. He is a conductor; she is a cellist. Their wedding was composed like a symphony — four movements, each with its own tempo, key, and emotional arc.
The ceremony at Villa Rufolo's Terrace of Infinity was the adagio: slow, breathtaking, suspended above the sea. The cocktail hour in the gardens was a scherzo — playful, light, with a jazz trio weaving between lemon trees. Dinner was the allegro, building in energy through seven courses of coastal cuisine. And the final dance, as fireworks erupted over the water, was the triumphant coda.
The Amalfi Coast's vertical geography demands creative problem-solving. Every piece of furniture, every floral arrangement, every case of wine must be carried up hundreds of steps. We hired a dedicated team of local porters and scheduled the build across three days to avoid rushing. Sound design was critical — we positioned speakers to carry music across the terraces without disturbing the town below.
