Nino and Tamara wanted to honour their roots. Both born in Tbilisi, both raised abroad, they chose the dramatic landscape of Kazbegi — where the Caucasus mountains meet the sky — as the setting for their return. The Gergeti Trinity Church, perched at 2,170 meters, provided the spiritual anchor.
The celebration blended ancient Georgian tradition with contemporary design. A supra feast — the legendary Georgian banquet with its ritual toasts — was reimagined in a modern glass pavilion overlooking Mount Kazbek. Local qvevri wines, hand-pulled khachapuri, and a whole-roasted lamb formed the centrepiece, while polyphonic singing filled the mountain air.
Planning a wedding at altitude in rural Georgia required a pioneering approach. There is no established luxury wedding infrastructure here — we built it. A temporary pavilion was erected over two weeks, generators were helicoptered to the site, and a team of chefs travelled from Tbilisi with a mobile kitchen. The reward was an utterly unique celebration in one of the most dramatic landscapes on Earth.

“We wanted something different and wild. The mountains, the traditional feast, the raw beauty — it was unforgettable and so deeply personal.”
